Diabetic Peripheral Neuropathy Research Study

Research is being conducted to study the effectiveness of a new non-invasive treatment for diabetic neuropathy. There is no significant risk to the procedure. Participants will need to spend 8 to 12 hours per day for 7 to 10 days in treatment. Follow-up evaluation immediately following and six months after procedure are required. Participants will be compensated.

The MME is similar to an MRI machine, but it is designed for treatment instead of diagnosis. Many individuals with orthopedic, neurological or cardiovascular problems have reported significant improvement in symptoms.

AMRI-International is seeking FDA approval for the MME to treat diabetic peripheral neuropathy and all MME treatment is supervised by an Institutional Review Board (IRB) as required by the FDA. AMRI-International has organized a double-blind, placebo-controlled trial (supervised by the IRB) or diabetic neuropathy, a condition for which there currently is no cure. In a pilot study, 7 out of 10 subjects showed significant improvements in pain and numbness after treatment with MME.
